Making a Difference

Making a difference in our community and the world our children will inherit is important to me. Having a home is more than a roof over one's head. It means being a part of a sharing community, having a healthful environment, caring about the animals who share this earth, and preserving the ecosystems of the planet.

Because of this, as the Owner of 4 Rivers Realty, I am pledged to donate 5% of my personal profits to charities that help our community on a local and a global level.

Please check out these websites or contact me for more information about the following charities and nonprofit organizations.

NEW! - Youth Group
I have recently organized and fully funded a Youth Group for the children in the neighborhood in which I live. This organization is in addition to the 5% given to the charities below. The long term goal of this group is to create a program that can be duplicated and used for the youth in neighborhoods anywhere.

NEW! - Doctors Without Boarders
Helping people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from health care.

Habitat for Humanity
More than 1.5 billion people worldwide lack decent, affordable housing.

United Nations International Childrens' Emergency Fund
Promoting the survival, protection, and development of all children worldwide through fundraising, advocacy, and education.

The Nature Conservancy
Saving habitats for animals, including migratory species. For example, almost half the world’s bird species depend on forests, wetlands, and grasslands of the Americas, from Canada to Argentina.

World Wildlife Fund
WWF directs its conservation efforts toward three global goals: protecting endangered species saving endangered species, and addressing global threats.
